About Me

I currently work as a reference librarian at the UCLA School of Law Law Library, which I absolutely love. Before working at UCLA, I had my own law firm and practiced law for several years, specializing in intellectual property law, civil litigation, and pro bono representation of nonprofits dedicated to animal protection issues. I obtained my JD from the UCLA School of Law, my BA from UC Irvine, and completed coursework toward a PhD at UC Irvine in Comparative Literature (I withdrew to go to law school). I can't wait to meet everyone in the class and to work with you all!

Favorite Books

Too many to list! I recently had surgery and took the opportunity to *finally* read the Harry Potter series, which I loved. Keeping in the same theme, I'm now enjoying Ursula LeGuin's Wizard of Earthsea series. In grad school, I focused on German and English Romantic poetry.
