For those using Jing or Captivate for your screencast

I have been using blip.tv to upload Shockwave Flash .swf screencasts for a few years. Just recently, apparently, they stopped allowing for the uploading of these files. As a result, anyone who is using a tool that only creates a .swf file as the final product is not going to be able to upload their screencast to blip.tv (this includes Captivate and Jing, Camtasia has multiple output formats). Instead, you will need to create an account at Screencast.com and upload your video there. Screencast.com has a free 60-day trial, so don't be worried by the rheortic about pricing. If you have any questions about screencast.com, please let me know. I've tried it out and it seems very user-friendly. When you've uploaded your screencast to screencast.com, just please provide the url of your screencast in your blog post so we all can find it.

Thanks to Melissa for noticing this change in policy from blip.tv and I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for any of you. Again, let me know if you need any help with this. If you do have problems uploading to screencast.com, I'll help you find an alternative site to host your screencast.
