Thoughts on Week 6

I don’t know what I’ll do when I graduate. It is a great feeling to be studying things (such as social networking) that are happening now and that very relevant to librarians. Just today I read an article on the Yalsa journal about a place they had specifically for library students. I assumed it would be another listserv and I decided to join. Well the link took me to Ning so let’s just say I have a one more social networking account under my belt. If only someone could put all these accounts onto one page so I could login once to access all this great information. If I had the programming brains, could this be something doable in Yahoo Pipes?
Anyway, I appreciate the exposure that we are getting to all these new technologies. One of the reasons that I chose to subscribe to What I Learned Today… is because I want to be exposed to learning opportunities that come from many different perspectives. So this class definitely been information overload but in a good way.
