LIBR 246-12: Web 2.0 and Social Networking Tools (Fall 2008)

Networking and computer technologies are constantly changing fundamental information structures as well as reshaping the relationship between information user and technology, and, therefore creating social change. The World Wide Web has been redefined and a new paradigm has emerged where the distinction between information providers and consumers has been virtually removed. Community-driven initiatives, and for the purposes of this assignment, specifically blogs, have rapidly gained influence and become a well established component of the internet landscape.
