LIBR 246-12: Web 2.0 and Social Networking Tools (Fall 2008)

I saw this article and video this morning on Tame the Web.  Strangely, I found it just after posting a comment on Dan's blog about how Google is taking over the world..or at least the internet.  This is a great example of a screencast for this week's assignment, and also a good example of a piece of social software that can be added to websites:

When I first started playing around with Yahoo! Pipes, I wasn't too sure what I could actually do with it.  To be honest, I still don't know all, or even most, of its applications.  This article gives you ten things that can be done with Yahoo! Pipes.  I like the TV series downloader, what a great resource for when I miss an airing of Project Runway :)
