While browsing the OCLC website I came across two innovative publicity campaigns promoting the QandANJ.org, a virtual reference service of the New Jersey Library Network. This is an example of successful promotional activities that “go where the users are” while also reflecting new ways in which users are seeking information. Although these campaigns target only youngsters, it is interesting to see how libraries are reaching out to their potential users and considering new informational habits and technologies.
