However, if networking is one's purpose, he or she may find that marketing may be a result of his or her activities. According to the author's experience, increased and proactive particiaption in social networks resulted in a 55% increase in RSS feed subscribers and a 200% increase in number of visits to the blog. The author concludes that making connections is the key.
