Steve Lawson's Internet Librarian Presentation on Flickr

I came across this pre-conference presentation that I wanted to share with the rest of you. Steve Lawson is the Colorado College Humanities Librarian. He offers a lot of really great resources if you are interested in further exploring this topic.

You can also explore the wiki for the Academic Library 2.0 here:

I found the presentation on getting support for your Web 2.0 projects useful. It's by Jenica Rogers-Urbanek, who is the Development Coordinator and Technical Services Team Leader for the libraries at the State University of New York College at Potsdam.

Steve is a great presenter  and a very funny guy. If you actually want to hear Steve talk about Flickr, he and Michael Porter (also a very funny guy) did a webcast on Flickr for a course I taught called 5 Weeks to a Social Library. You can access the presentation from here. It's from early 2007, so it's a little bit dated, but still offers some very good info about it.
