If your file doesn't play on blip.tv

I've noticed that several of you had errors with your presentation when you uploaded it to blip.tv and it wouldn't convert to .flv, meaning that it cannot be viewed by others. This page describes what might cause these errors and offers some good advice, including the following:

Check your original video to make sure that it plays successfully. You can also try playing it on someone else's computer to make sure that it doesn't depend on some software that's only available on your computer. If this doesn't reveal any problems, contact us and we'll take a look at it. Please let us know which authoring software you used to create the video.

If you continue to have problems with your video, I would suggest trying to upload it to screencast.com using their free account. You also may want to look at the documentation for the software you created your screencast on to make sure you are exporting the file properly. You need to export it in such a way that you only have one video file.

Another thing to remember, be sure to identify yourself either in the title/description of your screencast or in the screencast itself. If I have no idea who created the screencast, I will not be able to assign grades.
