It’s a great service. It is a very convenient service for library patrons. It’s an online reference desk. To be honest, I have never used it before. However, it’s less intimidating than asking a librarian at the reference desk. I was able to ask those questions without explaining to the librarian the reason why I was asking these questions. I had a good experience and I am impressed with these librarians who answered my questions. The librarians joined the sessions quickly and communicated with me in a friendly manner. Although both librarians are well trained and experienced, I thought the librarian in #1 appeared to be more experienced. The librarian in #1 was faster and answered correctly with online references. Consequently, I learned the key to the success of these services depends on each librarian’s experience and training regarding these services.

You make a great point about
You make a great point about the source used in terms of whether it's available online or not. If the student wants to look up information about the resource later on, it's nice to have it available online (if possible). However, it was nice that they gave you a link to the catalog record and that they were concerned with finding you reputable sources.
