Well I was thinking. There were a lot of great ideas in this class, and would it not be nice to have a copy of this website to save some of the cool ideas we had.
Therefore, in a moment of weakness (and total Geek-dom) I saved the site.
If anyone is interested, it is on my website here.
I will repost it after everyone has posted their reflections.

1. How has your view of social software changed since starting the course?
I do not know if my view of social software has changed. However, I have gotten a lot of new insight into these programs and I am now starting to use them. I now have a Facebook page, and I did not have that before this class. Delicious is an awesome tool as well.
This is a neat looking software that allows you to sorts and sends your RSS feeds by subject in whatever manner you want. You can get the latest Iphone news txted right to your phone. It even alerts you through instant messaging client.
This is a great little service could be very useful if you find that all the rss posts are starting to pile up. This at least allows you to organize in a manner you wish.
Yes we do. In today’s world you need policies because there are people out there who will do the wrong thing. I am sorry, but it true. It only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch and when it does, who gets in trouble.
I learned that at when is going to do something, you should do it well. And you should know your audience. I think it is great that libraries are trying to reach out and touch their communities. I am even a bigger believer of you (the institution) going to the clientele and giving them what they want or even creating a want in the community.
Ok so we all know, might not admit, but know deep down that Google is tracking how we use their service. However, let's be honest, they are not tracking disease...that is so awesome and crazy and scary at the same time.
It is cool because our patterns in searching, we can help prevent a disease that harms/kills many people to this day. The downside is, if that can do, can they do cancer, or STDs, or whatever.

This is just crazy. And I mean crazy good, and just crazy. You know the world is a little smaller. And that is a good thing, but it does make it take a moment and pause, in a good way, and think what is next?
Here is another follow-up on this. Social networking and 2.0 has come along way.
Also if you look at 2000 election coverage and 2008, look at the use of technology and how it different. In 2000 it could have been 1972, but last night that had touch screen with up-date voter info.
Very impressive.
This is a really good article on Snipd, which rather than bookmarking a whole website, you only clip one part of the webpage. So if find this great YouTube clip, you can snipd it and if others have snipd, send them the link to that part as well.
It is sort of a mash-up, but in reverse, in that you are eliminating information and only having that one (the one thing you are interested) saved.
