My 2 cents

1. How has your view of social software changed since starting the course?

I would say that I have a larger perspective of all the various forms and uses available than I did before the class began.

2. What technology did you find most interesting for your personal use? What technology did you think would be most useful professionally?

I preferred LibraryThing hands down to anything else that was studied. I think that RSS feeds and tagging are some of the more useful tools for a library social software program.

3. What surprised you during the course?

I think that I had assumed that a working knowledge of social software would enable me to more clearly understand how to troubleshoot, manipulate, and ascertain how computer programs work; but, if anything it showed me that I can engage in forms of social software all I want and I still don't understand the technological machinations of it all.

5. How did your experience using Drupal differ from your experience in Angel classrooms (or classes using other traditional course management systems)?

I like that in Drupal everything is out in front of you; however, I would like something like an index or a table of recent contents. (ex. in Angel you can look at all the titles of the postings, and then choose to enter into them, and mark them as read.) All in all, I preferred Blackboard.

Thanks for the feeback,

Thanks for the feeback, Jenny! I'll have to see if there's any way to bring some of that functionality from Blackboard into Drupal.
