My Reflection

The last few weeks have been amazing. I have learned so much from all of the presenters as well as my fellow students. The reading assignments have been very helpful as well. I am going to start with using a blog for my teen customers. I already have a member of my TIB to help with the designing and organizing this blog. We will use it as part of our summer reading program. The kids can post book reviews or just discuss what they are reading. I will also have give aways for those that participate just as an incentive. I am looking forward to implementing this project.
I am also using my new skills to write a lesson plan for my library school assignment. I am going to have the students blog a readers' response journal for the book Briar Rose by Jane Yolan.
Thank you for all of those that participated and for those that created this wonderful program. I really appreciated all of your hard work.
