Library Instruction Wiki?

We have recently started a wiki at the library. It is for staff only and we use it to post general information of use to all. From looking at some of the examples of library wikis, I think I would like to try a library instruction wiki. Currently we have paper file folders for each class we teach and keep information in each one. However, a lot of information is shared verbally, e.g. "Did you teach so and so's ENG 102 last semester? What did you do?" and since many of the librarians are part time we don't all see each other. A wiki could be a solution. Anyone else used a wiki for this purpose?

Ellie, I'm with you. We have
Ellie, I'm with you. We have intranet wikis and a public wiki on PBwiki for basic tutorials on things like how to download our audio books from NetLibrary. Is this something to teach or can it be less formal? I hate to add to the "other duties as assigned." We are going over some of this on our staff development day but is this enough? Thoughts?

Ellie and Rachel, you may
Ellie and Rachel, you may want to take a look at the Library Instruction Wiki. There might be some information you can use, or it can certainly give you lots of ideas.
