Check out Bloggity-Blog-Blog-Blog's wonderfully frank discussion of trying out Google reader for the first time and comparing it to Bloglines. Looks like I've found a new feed as well...

I must say that I looked at
I must say that I looked at Google Reader for this course and was in love. What I really wanted in Bloglines was to be able to tag things, Google Reader lets me do that. I also like the colors of Google Reader better as I seem to be able to scan faster. Is that the subliminal Google getting to me? I wonder if I even care anymore.
The only thing I miss about Bloglines is the subscription numbers, but Google will soon be adding that to their features. Lovely.
Interesting. I tried Google
Interesting. I tried Google Reader this week and didn't really like it. It might just be because I've been using Bloglines for over two years and was so accustomed to their interface. I'll still give it more of a chance and it may just take time to get used to a different interface and different ways of doing things. At first blush though, I wasn't crazy about it. But obviously, a lot of people do like Google Reader.
De gustibus non disputandum
De gustibus non disputandum est, especially in newsreaders. I use Gregarius, not because it's great but because it's good enough and I'm used to it.
