The Librarian List

Some time ago, I found pubsub, which now seems to be gone, and 'got' the librarian list by steve cohen. I'm not exactly straight on this, but it was an OPML file that I imported into my feed reader(?) Anyway, if you're looking for some feeds to get started, it has about 100 feeds from library-related blogs. For someone smarter than me about this: where can you still find this OR is there a way for me to send this list to someone else? Can you export an OPML file but have it just contain some of your feeds?

Addendum:  On Steve Cohen's blog, Library Stuff, he has a link on the right side called Reading List, it's an opml file and perhaps the one I'm talking about(?)

OPML is just another flavor

OPML is just another flavor of XML. You can open it in a text editor and mess around with it, if you're reasonably careful.

And I think you're right

And I think you're right about the list on Library Stuff. I think it is the same list as the one he kept up on PubSub.

Hey all. I hope that you're

Hey all. I hope that you're enjoying this course!

Regarding reading lists, the PubSub list is a bit different than the one on my blog (funny, I had taken down the list on my blog and when we moved over to Wordpress, it magically reappeared). The OPML file on PubSub (although a bit outdated) is a list of all of the sites on the Librarian List. The list on my blog is my own personal "top 10" librarian blogs.

Reading Lists are supposed to be a short list of what you really love and very hard to complete. They are also constantly changing, in theory.

I hope this helps.
