Marketing your blog part.1

stats homo homini lupus

Once you have created a blog and have just started posting I am sure you will start asking yourself many questions about “what’s next”.

I begun blogging a couple months ago and it is really amazing for me to remember how happy I used to be while reading on my stats that I have had more than 40 unique visitors at my site in one day!

Of course, I didn’t exactly knew what does UNIQUE meant and had to wiki information about it. Then, I decided to visit some friends blogs and somehow in less than a month I already had some widgets on my blog’s right column.

Now, almost three months have passed and I receive a lot more than just 40 unique visitors daily. Today, I am getting around 200 average unique visitors a day and it has become a type of vice to learn from my own statistics what does people likes to read on my blog and at the same time what should I be writing about.

Mine is a personal blog, and it has been very difficult to try focusing on a specific subject to talk about. Somehow I write about anything that comes to my mind. Maybe while working at the Library blog soon I will start making up a “unique visitors” list of people searching for information on a Library’s life.

Well, now I have found out what does the daily visitors report has done to my Internet life. I have to check it at least 5 to 10 times a day. I still write about what I think is interesting to talk about. But also, I have to remember always what my “clients” are looking to learn from me or just read about.
