So late!

I left this until the last minute because I had no idea this date would sneak up so fast! I am the librarian at a small Catholic high school in Vermont, and I got excited about this course because I think it will give me a more professional platform to promote social networking here at school. Everything is banned here, myspace, email, etc. although we don't have filters, and I feel like it is done this way because people don't understand it. Although I personally use certain popular technologies, I don't think the higher powers here will find the fact that the librarian uses myspace a plausible reason for permitting it. I also look forward to learning the best ways to maximize the potential of social sites.
