Gave an informal talk about the course to Cilip in London. Despite the proximity to our bank holiday, was able to tell a roomful of people about the good things that have been happening here.

Just to say that I'm really looking forward to meeting with as many of you as possible for our chat. It's early, because I'm in Scotland from Thursday visiting the folks. It's a wee while off, but I thought it might be an extra motivation for some of you to know that I will be giving an informal talk about the course to Cilip in London (Cilip is the UK's library association) in April, and would ideally like to highlight the new social software ideas you implement as a result of the course:

One of the reasons I like work-based blogging is that it allows my organisation to speak, everyday, world-wide, and this could be an ideal opportunity for any of you to get your URL out to interested people in the UK - Cilip in London event-goers come from all sectors of the profession and beyond (researchers, social scientists, etc.).
